Update - Dominica earthquake swarm

The SRC has received one report of a felt earthquake from Dominica on the 5th March 2010. It was located at a depth of 7.7 km and a magnitude of 1.7 at 15.615°N, 61.452°W at 5:45 p.m. This earthquake is part of the on-going sequence of earthquakes in Northern Dominica which started in June 2009. It is not a cause  for concern. The SRC continues to monitor the situation closely and will keep you informed of developments.
